We, at Faith Temple Empowerment Church, are happy to be a part of Contra Costa County, and specifically, the Richmond community.  We endeavor to be a substantial contributor to the community in which we serve.



Currently, we worship at 300 MacDonald Avenue and are looking to be an asset by assisting in the revitalization of Richmond.  To that end, we are looking to secure our own building.

 

Following are programs we want to add to the city and house in our new building/empowerment worship center:

o Reading, Writing, and Financial Literacy
o Afterschool Activities – Study, Games, Electronics
o Quiet Area – No Electronics
o Food/Clothing Giveaway

In addition, we have plans to offer

• reentry programs,

• housing,

• employment preparedness

 

with a goal of building self esteem, fostering self sufficiency, reducing crime, recidivism, and homelessness.
